Yea, I think they have a host of back up, including the FBI.

I do understand the anger of the community however scaring people driving through the area is a testament to the high tension.

My sis is a nurse who works nights in an area near there that's supposedly being targeted by protesters. Her hospital is trying to figure out safety contingency plans for their staff but staff is not impressed. A guard escort to or from your car isn't going to get you in or out of the garage and in or out of the zone. She says most staff will stay at the hospital if there or at home if not. Their administrators don't like it but no one wants to get caught up in that mess for a paycheck. Crazy times.

There was another accident Friday night on West Florissant. The protesters decided to walk onto the street in order to block traffic. A car had to swerve to avoid hitting one of the protesters and that in turn caused another car to hit a light pole. Immediately one of the leaders was telling the protesters to tell the police that the protesters didn't cause the accident and the language was nothing nice. Then another one started saying that the car that swerved had run a red light which was a lie because the light was green. The car that swerved kept going to the police dept. to report the accident. I don't blame them for not stopping cause the protesters beat up a man the other night who asked them to please stop blocking the road.

These types of situations are why I will always support police departments having military-type vehicles. There was a recent uproar about military-type vehicles that a local PD had gotten from the government and I come down on the side of the good guys being protected more than the thugs.

I hope they wait until after Thanksgiving. I am trying to hard not to get political, but I would not be surprised at all if the grand jury purposely decides one way to prevent total chaos. Sad but true. And even if that happens, there will still be "happy riots" whatever they are (aka : My team won the World Series - lets tip cars over! YAY!).

That would just delay the inevitable.

There will be no rest until Wilson as been sentenced and given the death penalty.
They aren't listening to Mike Brown's parents' public requests at all. Wilson is to be sacrificed at all costs. The police must pay for their mistake. Ongoing message since August.

I wouldn't be so sure about the grand jury. They have to see what is happening and the easiest thing for them is to indict and make this someone else's problem. No indictment puts the blame squarely on them.

In all fairness to the community, Ferguson LEO's handled this on a scale of "Legendary Fail".

If the GJ comes back and does not bring LEO Wilson up on charges in the death of Brown, all hell is going to break loose.
