keep from starving the first two weeks of the South Beach Diet? I just had breakfast..2 scrambled eggs with mushrooms sauteed in I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray topped with a spinkle of shredded lowfat mozzarella, 15 dry roasted peanuts and a portion of the worst jello I've ever had. It's the sugarfree stuff I think (whatever is on the diet). And I'm still hungry. :(

It's only the first day and already I miss my bread.:sad:

Drink lots of water. When you feel hunger pangs hitting, drink water. If you are still hungry after the water, then have something that is South Beach friendly.

Also, sugar free gum has saved my life on Phase 1! I like Trident and Orbit spearmint flavor.

I also notice that you didn't mention eating any breakfast meat. I find some fat (not the bad stuff) is satisfying and perhaps adding some turkey bacon or plus another egg for breakfast (if needed) can help you feel satisfied. You should never feel hungry, and never ever feel like you're starving.

The feelings of wanting the carbs will pass in a few days. You can do this! We are here to help you be successful! :sunny:
