How do you wear your Magic Band?

For those of you out there who feel like you are between the child's size and the adult size of the magic band....

How tight/loose are you wearing your Magic Bands in the park?
Do you loosen/tighten it during the day?
Did you leave the grey outside on or take it off?
If you took it off did you regret it?

Last October I cut mine down and the rough cut edge irritated me all day. I'm considering taking off the grey outerband this trip, but am worried by the end of a hot September day I am going to want to really loosen it up and be frustrated I can't. If I don't cut it down and leave it alone, I'm worried the extra bulk will make me crazy as well.

I was worried about taking the grey off the first time. I have tiny wrists, and was glad I took the outside off after the first 10 minutes. I don't like having something that can spin around my wrist. I like it fairly stable, if that makes sense. I like my watches that stay in place and I can always see the face. If I measure my wrist, it is slightly less than 6". Not sure if that helps, but I will certainly be wearing my MB as a child's size. I will say both my trips were in cooler weather - November and January. My upcoming trip is in December as well. Good luck whatever you decide and have fun.

I have the wrists of a 5 year old and while I could have taken the outer portion off and been able to have it fit, I didn't.

I was able to tuck the extra part around the inside of the band and had no issues with it (I don't like heavy items on my wrists either).

I make it so it fits like a watch would and have found it becomes something you get used to wearing pretty quickly and don't even notice after a few hours.

File the cut edges down with a nail file.

This isn't what you asked, but it's what came to my mind. I wear mine (when I wear mine) with the mickey on the INSIDE of my wrist. That way I can more easily scan it for purchases instead of twisting my wrist all around and my fingers are almost exactly in the right spot for the PIN. And it allows me to go for either side of the entrances a bit easier. I had been wearing it with mickey on the outside SIDE of my wrist, for the entrances, but then purchases were annoying.

^This is how I wore mine too. It never bothered me wearing it. I just did not want to peel the gray part off, like the look better that way.

I have very small wrists. I just don't wear mine. I put it in the pocket of the bag I wear that day (cross shoulders and very small) and take it out when needed. Works for me but others might have other opinions.

I took the outer part of mine off. I like it snug. Having it loose really bothered me because the band would knock against my wrist bone. So overall, it turned out better with the outer part off. Plus I figured that they only last a couple years (if what I've read is true) so a new one will be right around the corner.

I left the outside on, but used scissors and cut off about 3 holes of the extra length. this way it doesn't rub, and I wear it just a little loose.

I have tiny child-sized wrists, I never noticed it but I remember wishing I could have gotten a child size wristband, when ours came I noticed they are now all the same size I guess they ditched the two size thing. The old child size one that had was so nice! Unless I am mistaken but thats what I recall. We went back in December and my daughter got a tiny gray one and I got a big gray one. Honestly I never noticed it.

My wrists measure 6 1/8", and I left the grey band on. Reason: I was running the Princess Half Marathon, and was worried if I wore it too tight, then I'd get a heat rash, so I wanted the option to loosen it if I wanted to. I could have easily worn it without the grey part, fastened on the last notch for the rest of the trip, but I just decided to leave it. It didn't feel excessively bulky. I think I only loosened it one notch for the race, and then went back after that.

I trimmed the gray part and rounded the edges. I was afraid I would want to loosen it during the day and I did. This next trip since I have more than one I am thinking of taking the gray off the old one and trying it without.
