Cynthia, I kind of like that you got on no rides and took all those pictures -- you got some really good ones and a few spots I'm not sure I've seen before. Mark and I've not been on the Liberty Belle in ages either; like you, it's always closed when we are there. Hopefully, we get on it this year.
I'm glad I went on it too, it was just fun to step back and soak it all in
And honestly, I think the E's would have gotten bored so best it was open when it was just me on it!
Wow, amazing MK pictures in the 2 Belles update! I still have not gone on the Liberty Belle, but I really should, it looks like a fun way to see everything in Fronteirland! That line for HM looked insane!
BCV looks pretty! I like the regular BC rooms better, but I'd still like to stay in a villa sometime!
That HM line was awful, sadly though it did mean I never made it on HM this trip. I loved the views from the Liberty Belle, a great way to soak it all in.
Much as I might like the decor of the BC rooms a little better, I like the vibe of the villas better. I was worried after the YC, which I loved, that I'd have a hard time at the BC as there are SO many little kids. Not that I don't love kids, I do. But with mine being 10 and up now, I loved the quieter more adult pace of the YC and is suited us. The Beach Club to me can seem a bit chaotic at times, especially in the lobby with so many wee ones. However, the villas were an oasis. I absolutely loved it! And that pull out is amazingly comfy.
Loving your updates girls!
Every time I leave WDW I feel like I didn't have time to walk around slowly and absorb all the little details that makes it so WONDERFUL. Mary Ellen and Cynthia, I'll bet it was so enjoyable to get to move slowly by yourselves and take it all in
"I have a dream"....
We're always so busy seeing how much we can get done.
Loove the compromise on the pool pics. I can just hear that conversation now
It really was wonderful. We too have slowed down a little but being west coasters don't make it out as much as the rest of the girls so still have a little commando in us. It was nice to just walk and let it take me wherever.
Haha...my senior year of high school, my older sister moved back in, so I had to share with her again. It was only supposed to be temporary, but she lived there for that entire year and my first semester at school. Now that room is my Mom's library!
I figure it's Taylor's turn to share if he comes back after school starts, the middle two have been doing it for 7 years! I shared until middle school but then not again until college. We had sleeping porches, that took some getting used to at first!
Well, he certainly IS easy on the eyes. Sort of like the waiters in Italy! (Via Napoli)
Oh those waiters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!!!! Ah - yes - my therapy was working quite well. It's really the first time I used alcohol to start feeling better. But something told me it might do the trick!
You needed to relax more than pain relieve so it makes sense that it worked.
I really hope I can get a room at the BW or BC for F&W 2012, because I WILL be going then! It will take major disability, disaster, or death to keep me away in 2012. So as soon as you all get home for 2011 I want to start planning 2012!!!!!!
I can't remember if I had any wine or not, but I do remember being impressed by Tracy's wide assortment of disney glasses in her owner's locker.
I vote for BW. Hee hee.
I remarked at the time that the only thing that would make my burger and fries better would be a nice cold beer. And thus began a discussion and soapbox I would jump on for the rest of the trip: for all the amazing changes they are making in the MK, why can't I get a drink?? It doesn't have to be as "in your face" as the booze in World Showcase but just some options. Why not??
Later, as I was pontificating on the lack of alcohol in the MK, Mary Ellen had the best idea: shooters for parents on your way in and out of Fantasyland!
Talk about a money maker!!
Your pictures are great!!! A beer would have been perfect with lunch and I kow we all agreed we'd sign your petition. How Gaston can have a tavern without beer is beyond me. It will be interesting. This is why we never eat dinner in the MK. It's vacation and I want an adult beverage with my meal! Heck they could make it beer and wine only, no hard stuff but c'mon, it's kind of silly if you ask me. I'd love to know the reasoning behind it.
Too funny! Your TR should have a subtitle as far as I am concerned.
Trish you have no idea. It was a trip of one liners and potential TR titles. LOTS of laughs. I think many of them will come out over the report, Christine did a good job of trying to keep track of them as they came up.
