How do you spread the pixie dust?

One more.

I take packages of those silly little light sticks from the Dollar Store. While waiting for meals, parades, fireworks I make light necklaces with them for the children around me.

DH calls me the Pied Pipper.

We take the Ferry home from the MK to the handicapped parking spot.....then back to our favorite Boardwalk. By the end of the voyage I am surrounded by children waiting for necklaces or playing with my scooters bell and squeaky horn.

I found some awesome glow sticks at Dollar Tree a few weeks back. They were wands and all had a Disney character topper, Sofia the First, Mickey & Minnie. I grabbed some for DD and some extra for others to hand out. Also purchased some extra glow necklaces and bracelets. They also had some of the Disney character Play packs so I purchased a few of those as well. I figured it would keep our little one busy while we are eating or even taking a break in the room. There are 4 little crayons, a small color book and some stickers.

Please don't have a strange child a toy. What a way to confuse the child about safety and not being too friendly with people they don't know.

Really??!
People have given me children things at disney alot and I've always been very grateful, my boys now hand out glow bands at fireworks and bus stop waits! Never had a problem.
It's not like a stranger walking up in the middle of no where! The parents are with the children.

My First trip I bought 10 balloons and just gave them to kids! LOVE doing that! Even just 1

Wowww ... Those things are expensive. I wish someone have me one! I always though it was too expensive for me but now a have small excuse baby DS to buy it for.

We have received FP from other families that were not able to use them..the best one was TSM...we couldn't get FP (all out for the day by like 10). A couple offered theirs to us..my DD was thrilled. We in turn have also given away FP we couldn't use. Also at the end of our vacation my DD would give her Balloon away. Just a side note, this happens all the time to us, we go in August when it's very hot...the balloons tend to deflate with the humidity going from AC to Heat vice versa. All you need to do is take it back to the fine vendors on Main Street and they will replace it with a perfectly new one. :thumbsup2 Would never be offended if someone offered my daughter a thoughtful gift or suggestion..that is the Disney magic. One year I was looking around in Main Street Candy Shoppe and DD was sleeping in her stroller. I was chatting with one of the CM telling her how my DD was so looking forward to coming in and getting some candy but I didn't want to wake her up so I just purchased what I thought she would like. She then came back over to me with a bagful of "goodies" and told me to tell my DD that Minnie "specially picked out this bag of goodies for her" :goodvibes

My husband has extra trading pins, stickers, or buttons in his pocket. If he sees a child that needs an extra pick me up he will hand them out. If we are in a long line he makes a game of it. He will hand off something to child and tells them that every time they meet up in line to hand it back to him. He always make sure that they get it at the end. On one ride he had 5 kids doing it. Everyone around us thought it was a great idea.

LOVE this idea!!!
