How do you remove tile grout from a wedding ring??????

Help! My DH is doing the tile in our basement and forgot to take his wedding ring off. Now, it's full of caked on grout and I can't get it off! Any suggestions on how to remove it w/o ruining the ring?

I would take it to a jeweler, and have them try putting it in the ultrasonic cleaner. Or - they might have some other ideas.

Heat and cool. In the oven at 300 then into the icebox. Repeat until the grout cracks.

I think I'd let a jeweler deal with it as well.
