How do you pool hop and how easy is it?

I'm booked at the PBH for two nights in July and was wondering about the pool hopping? I like the look of the pool at the PBH, but want to check out the pool at the HRH. I wanted to stay at the HRH, but there was no AAA rates left. I'm not complaining because the PBH looks beautiful, but my family and I want to hang out at the HRH pool for a little while to see if it's as nice as they show in the pictures and on TV.

My question is how long is it from the PBH to the HRH pool and is there a place to change into our suits? I don't want to walk through the lobby of any resort in swimwear, especially just getting out of a pool and our suits still damp. I was thinking we could take a small bag of our stuff and head on over to the HRH and change there. Is that allowed? How long of a walk between resorts is it? Any suggestions would be helpful. I never been on site at Universal before and don't know the lay of the resorts

We always stay at PBH and pool hop to HRH.

It is an easy, less than 10 minute walk along a beautiful botanical path.

I can't help you with the changing, as we always rent a cabana for the day, so just change in there. However, there are bathrooms where I am pretty sure you can change in.

You can either go through the lobby and down the stairs to the entrance of the pool. Or you can go just a bit past the HR and there will be a path on the side that takes you directly to the pool. This is the same exit/entrance that you will use if you want to head to the parks from the pool. Just slip your hotel card into the key slot and the gate should open for you.

There is a small building right by the entrance from the lobby where you can get towels.

I don't know if your key will work at the HRH because I tried my PBH key at the HRH side entrance and it didn't work. I just waited for someone to come thru the door and went in. Your key will be used to get you towels.

Yes, bring a bag, and change in the bathroom which is located next to the bar.

Once you have your towels, and a lounge chair, you'll feel like part of the action and the waitresses will ask if you want a drink.

on the side where you can walk out past the gate for the walk way to the parks, you will see the building,hrh. there is a shower room, changing room, etc there for guests.

this is where i go to change. i check out of my room at 2 as a late check out and then store my luggage. after i come back to the park around 6, i change in there for my trip home.

this is the area for the pool people but ones like me use it for changing once we check out of our rooms. people that don't want to go back to their room wet, use this also.

it is very convenient. anyone can use it if they are a guest at any of the 3 hotels.

towels are there also for your convenience.



take the walk from pbh to hrh.
the bus will take too long as it goes from hrh to pbh to rph back to hrh and studios drop off.


ask at pbh or any life guard or employee at hrh for the locker room.
