I like mine medium well, but usually order it well done unless I'm in a nicer steakhouse (Le Celier gets them just about perfect) because if not, it's usually a lot closer to rare than well.

My roommate in the Air Force used to tell the waiter to "just walk the cow through the kitchen on the way to the table." Yuck
