How do you fit bkfst in at CP BEFORE rope drop?

I'm also debating a late breakfast (that would really be a lunch) vs. the early morning ressie. I want that puffed french toast darn it!!!

Hi, Just wanted to tell you how my family does it because we are BREAKFAST lovers! I make the LATEST possible breakfast ADR 10:15 or as close to 10:30 as possible and we use this meal as a brunch, then we do an afternoon snack and dinner. Also to the OP you may want to try it this way in order to do rope drop and have about an hour of rides before breakfast.(alot can be done in that first hour) Then you can get a fastpass before going to breakfast for a ride as soon as you are finished eating. You may also enjoy the characters more this way(because sometime they are slow) not feeling rushed to get to rope drop. ENJOY!! Joan

It all depends on the character rotation. We visited CP twice last trip and had 8:05 ressies both times. On the first day, we were out by around 9:10, but the second time, agh! We waited FOREVER to see Piglet and did not get out till 9:50! I also felt too full to really enjoy rides that early, so my vote is to just be at rope drop and go straight to Fantasyland and then do a later breakfast at CP.

And, yes, Dumbo DOES get a long line in just a few minutes, so go there first!! We got there at 10:00 and waited at least 35 hot, sweaty minutes.
(Can you tell I'm not doing the early ADR thing again?) But I'm with you on the touring plan--it works beautifully on it's own. Not so much when you throw in a TS breakfast.

how early will they let you in the hub for a ADR? like say you get the earliest ADR 8:05?? maybe.. can you get in like 7:30 or 7:45 ? so you have time to do photo pass pics etc... I know usually ADRs want you to check in early.. our next trip we are doing the DXDDP so we will be fitting in a lot of breakfasts LOL both in parks and in resorts.. I was thinking we would do the early morning thing in the parks, and have sort-of sleep in days for resort breakfasts...
I am curious to know what are your game plans for places like chef mickeys, ohana etc.. ?

we just got back and had 820 adr for CP they let us in around 8am we got seated before 820 we were done about 10mins before rope drop, we didnt see piglet or tigger tho the kids had enough of sitting there and waiting for them and were very fussy. I say get there a bit early and do your photopass stuff, we did that with ever park we had morning ADRS with. Oh and i had an 18mos old and 3yr old to eat with who arent fast eaters at all.
