How do you calculate pts for Disney cruises?

I hope I can explain this question clearly...
Are the point values based on double occupancy? Or is it based per person?

Say for example that the point value for a stateroom is listed as 100 points. Does that cover 2 people? Or if you bring two people would it really be 200 points?

I know you would then add a smaller value for the 3rd or 4th person. But I'm confused as far as how to calculate the first two people.

Also, would you calculate it the same way for the Alaska cruises?

The point charts for the cruise are points per person based on double occupancy. If only one person will occupy the cabin, there would be an additional charge.
