A verandah in February is better than my condo in February, so I say bring it on.
Booking our first cruise (ever) for February. Do we think the verandah is worth it? I'm worried it'll be too cold out there.

Interesting…. We are doing a Christmas sailing (December). Is the Verandah a waste? Should we just stick to ocean view? Looking at my cruise it’s only a couple hundred dollar upcharge for the verandah…
This is definitely an opinion question/ answer. I could never book a Verandah again and be happy. I had one on a 4 night, beautiful weather cruise to the Bahamas and essentially never used it.
There are people whose cruise would not be a cruise without mornings and sunsets alone on their balcony.
I’d rather have the money (to spend on another cruise.)
Starboard side you heard. Beautiful views. This October 2018.Not to hijack the OP's post, but what side of the ship do you need to select to get the view of lady liberty?
