im sitting here putting off cleaning my room (againnnn) and im wondering how it always gets SOOO unbelievably messy so quickly!?!

i need help keeping it clean for 2 months so i can redecorate it, and i really need advice:

how do u keep ur room clean?
how do u stay organized?

Hmmm, that is a tough question.

The main thing I do is whenever I have laundry that is cleaaned I put it in my closet or dresser right away so it is not piled on the floor. I always make my bed each day. It takes about 5 minutes. And at least once per week I will vacuum my rug. I also have my own bathroom which is connected to my room and that is even harder to keep clean with all my make-up all of the sink counter and hair stuff. So the bathroom is where I have trouble.

I also keep it clean throughout the week. If I have tons of things spread out I pick them up that day so they don't keep piling on. I have quite a few boxes in my room and some decorated boxes for storage and to make my room look nice. I'm kinda an organized person so It's not as hard for me. If you have extra things that can be put in your closet I would just pick up a couple of small boxes to put things in or to put in your room. Whichever works. Good luck.

nah i just tend to put everything back after using it automaically. i shove most things ion my wardrobes or where they're not visible. oh yesh my wardrobes probably need sorting out.

I'm the same way! I'm such a messy person! I have clothes stacked on random chairs and desks in my room and papers are everywhere (that can be blamed for finals I'm taking this week). But I try to put all my clothes away as soon as I get them from the laundry. And I try to stack all of my papers in a pile in my room. It sometimes doesn't work though..hehe

how do u keep ur room clean? I put things back where they belong and have LOTS of shelving and baskets to keep things off the floor.
how do u stay organized? I put similar things in the same basket or on one shelf. Ie, all of my stuffed animals are in two baskets, all of my little statues are on one shelf, all of my shoes are in one basket, and all of my combs, brushes, hair ties, and things like that are in one basket.
