How do these dining plans sound to you?

Here are our tentative dining plans for our WDW trip. We will be on the DDP. There are 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids--well the kids are 12 & 13 so they're technically adults but you get the idea) We have decided to try restaurants that we haven't been to before except for a couple must haves. Can you let me know how each of these restaurants sound? Have you had good luck with them? thanks so much.

D-Pecos Bill Cafe (CS) (new to us) DH usually gets the taco salad and enjoys it, my fav is the chicken wrap. They do not have cheese sauce on their condiment bar so that is the only drawback

B-Supercalifragilistic Buffet (TS) (new to us) Ate there once and DH will not try it again because the noise level is insane, little does he know that I just booked dinner there for us next month. We did have a later breakfast when we went and it was super packed and the food was pretty bad..not replenished and just dried out and blech....I would like to give it a second chance tho

D-Cosmic Rays (CS) (new to us) We love this place! Awesome soups and salads, your standard burger but with all the fixings it is much better, killer rotisserie chicken! AND they have the amazing cheese sauce for your fries of whatever else you want to put it on!

D-France (TS) (new to us) If you are talking about Chefs de France then we love it! Awesome food, cannot go wrong with this place!

Your kids are older and will really want to get to it on Day 1, I would not book a TS breakfast. I'd plan to arrive at the park early, have a CS lunch when its convenient then book dinner at or near the park. In the park I'd book Crystal Palace, a buffet with lots of choices in a central location. Tony's might be another place to consider inside MK. Near the park Whispering Canyon since it is on your list to try anyway. You can grab some breakfast items at the Main Street Bakery once you enter the park.

You could also grab some items from your resort CS the night before that the kids can have in the room (cereal, milk, pastries, fruit). You can use one CS credit and get items that 2 people can share. Then you can share the second CS credit for lunch. The kids probably won't want/need to eat too heavy while riding.

On your Epcot day have breakfast at the park at Sunshine Seasons, again get out of the resort and into the park earlier.

I found it was helpful to have several CS choices at each park on the list. We were far from Cosmic Ray's when we were ready to eat at MK so we ate at Peco Bill's (we did not like it, but many do). I was starved on Main Street after Spectro and remembered that Main Street Bakery had great sandwiches and mouth watering desserts. Especially with your eyeroll prone teen/pre teen just be ready to feed them when they are hungry. I would not be "married" to a certain CS at any park.

On your waterpark days I'd save my CS for those places. They have CS meals there and your kids will get hungry during the day. Get to the parks early and eat there too. During peak season those places can fill up and in fact be closed until people start leaving in the afternoon.

all of your restaurants look great! Cape May Cafe is my favorite buffet on Disney property! i forget what they are called, but make sure to get the oreo dessert!!

We loved Cosmic Rays on our recent trip. There was enough variety for everyone and the meals were big enough that you can easily share a meal between people. We got three meals to feed the 5 of us (2 adults, 10, 7, and 3 yr. old). Have a wonderful trip!
