summer? We have been to WDW three times during the summer, (twice in July and once over Labor Day weekend). We now have a short trip planned for Monday, February 16 until Friday, February 20. Any idea how the crowds compare to the summer months?

My family is going to be at WDW from Sunday, February 15th to Friday, February 20th! I've never been during this time either, but have done lots of research on it (including a few posts on this site). Best I can tell, the parks are pretty crowded on Monday (and the weekend prior), but start to clear out a little each day as the week goes on. I've been a few times in the summer, and also on Easter Sunday, and I can't imagine that the crowds will compare to that.
One other thing I have found . . . the last time I was there they had Fastpass (previous trips it had not been installed yet). If you know what you're doing and plan things out a little, even large crowds can be manageable. Besides, the parks have a little more personality with a larger crowd in them. Have fun, and maybe we'll see you there!

in mid march, the week after easter, the week surrounding thanksgiving, and february vacation (the week of President's day). February was the least crowded of these. The weekend of President's day is fairly crowded (they almost closed MGM that Sunday cuz of the crowds), but by Wednesday we were having no trouble at all seeing all we wanted to see. Weather was pretty good, still cool in the evening, though. One day was gray and kind of chilly (we wore sweatshirts all day), but the rest of the days were warm enough for shorts and Tshirts.

Thanks for the replies. Since we will arrive the afternoon of Presidents' Day and we are staying at Universal, I don't think it will be too bad. I think we will plan to go to Disney a little later in the week, like Wed. or Thurs.

We did that when we went the week after Easter. We spent Easter weekend at Universal, stayed on site, and walked to the front of the line on everything, so the crowds really did not matter.
