When last we left we were on our love boat, the Mark Twain. After we got off of the Mark Twain we headed straight to the POTC. I love it!! The line was great, it was the shortest line I have ever seen for it!! Yay!!
We hit all of the shops in New Orleans Square and that always takes a long time because I love this area so much. I can spend hours here. We sat for a while to watch the world go by. Yeah, I know I was in the place of wonderful rides and adventures but sitting there is fun for us.
After that we decided to ride the train around the park. I love the train, and I have always wanted to ride on Lily Belle. For those of you are wondering this is a private car that Mrs. Disney decorated and used to take guest around the park. I asked the CMs working the ride about the chances of riding in the Lily Belle and we were told how to ride it. And boy were we going to on Thursday!!
Before I go any further, some of the Mardi Gras decorations from New Orleans Square. I love these.
WBG caught sight of these while we were waiting for the train and he loved them.
Here's our train coming to get us!!
From there we went to Critter Country. I wanted to ride Pooh's ride, and if it weren't so chilly I would have ridden Splash Mountain. Maybe next trip. We rode Pooh's ride and went to Pooh's Corner. I love this store and obviously so did everyone else. It was the busiest place I had been to in the park by far. I think it is the candy that draws everyone in there.
By the time we were walking back I got to thinking about how much I had wanted to try the new menu at the Hungry Bear. I knew we had the reservation at JT Schmidt but that wasn't until 8:30 so I was hungry then.
I had the fried green tomato sandwich and it was amazing. The hand dipped onion rings were really good too. So good the even WBG who doesn't like onion rings tried them. That says a lot.
WBG had a cheeseburger on a whole grain bun with sweet potato fries. He really enjoyed his meal.
We walked leisurely back from Critter Country, I was not feeling so hot. I think it was because I had had so many fried foods during the day. I try to stay away from them normally and will so from now again.

Come to find out WBG was in a lot of pain a this point from his drive down in that very uncomfortable SUV we had. We visited all the stores again going down Main Street, are you sensing a pattern here? Yes, I LOVE the stores!!
We got out to the end of Main Street and decided to slip in and go see Great Moments With Mr Lincoln. I love this, I love the theater and I just love the show. I am a history buff. So it is right up my alley. Yay!!
We then walked over to the flag area to get pictures of some of the very few Valentines decorations we saw in the whole park. Here it is Sherry!!
The lonely decorations on Main Street. They had these in the planters in that area. Kind of sad I think. By Thursday they were gone.
And then it was time to go if we wanted to shower and get ready to walk to JT Schmidt from the hotel. When we got back to the room I was feeling better but just didn't want to leave the room. We found a nice present waiting for us.
A lovely bottle of Merlot, two glasses and a lovely card from Marcus the manager of the Ayres and Shanna who does their media. They knew we were there for our 20th anniversary and it was a very nice and thoughtful gift from them. It really made us feel special. These are the type of things that sets this hotel above others!!
We ended up ordering in some pizza later that night and eating in. All in all it was a wonderful Valentines Day and anniversary with my honey!!
Coming up next our day in the rainy, rainy, DCA!!
