How do I dispute onboard charges?

We had our first cruise last week. When we received our account on the last day I noticed that it was showing a $200 charge for the stroller that we used. I had returned the stroller the afternoon before, so I called guest services and they said that they would reverse the charge. I have just checked my credit card online and they have still charged the full amount. Is there a phone number I can call to try and get this sorted? I thought it was strange that they did not give me any paperwork for borrowing or returning the stroller.

I had an issue with my onboard account and was also told that it would be taken care of. 24 hours later (while getting ready to leave the boat) it still had not been taken care of so I literally stood at Guest Relations and had them correct it in front of me. My hunch was that once I got off the ship it would be immeasurably more difficult to do.

Now you find youself in the same situation; the challenge is that you are far, far away and the ship is one the seas. I am sure that someone can give you a phone # (though I'd start by calling DCL reservations and asking for help) but my rule is to get it "in writing" with a revised statement before I leave the ship, not because I don't trust people to do what they say, but as far as I am concerned the minute I walk off the ship I am but a memory and the new guests get all of the attention.

The first thing you should do is call your CC company and tell them the charge is in dispute. That way they put a hold on the amount going to the DLC until everything is straightened out.
