How do I activate my very first Gold Pass?

Hi all. Heading down in a week. I received my Magic Band already and I linked my AP online, but How do I go about activating it when I get down there? I am staying at POP. Can I activate it there? Do I have to go to a park to activate? I wasn't planning on going to a park the night I get there, as my plane lands at 8:30pm. Should I make it a point to go that night so I won't have to bother with it the next morning at the park (heading to AK)? If I do wait until the next am at AK, should I get there early to take care of that? What time do you suggest?

You must got to a ticket booth or customer service kiosk. There, they will activate your AP and give you your discount/parking cards. You must have your DVC card and a valid driver's license (state ID) to activate.

You can also activate at Disney Springs guest services. Make sure to bring DVC card and ID
