After having several days with the high in the teens and 20s, just as they predicted, we are above normal for a long stretch.

Not quite as nice as zanzibar, but still not bad for StL. This doesn't go through Christmas Day, but that is also forecast for upper 50s to 60.

Here is the updated forecast for StL. The record high on Christmas Day goes back to the 1800s and is 71. They were saying some models are showing Christmas Day in the mid 70s. Another strange winter so far.

The local TV meteorologists keep predicting for a record high on Christmas Day. The record is 71. Last night they were also saying a record on Friday (70), but this morning they backed off that a bit.



Interesting, the Weather Channel has us in the 60s the rest of the week and no records. I suspect models have changed in the last day. The weather channel reports what they think and because for the last week the local TV news has been saying we will have a record high on Christmas, they are sticking with it. When they miss, it will be the usual "models changed at the last minute" or " things wobbled to the south"

Either way, still well above average and I'll take it.

Well it is cold today in Ohio, but i do think this is the coldest it will be while we are here this week. I am planning to run at 1 pm as it might be above freezing. Whisky is loving being outside though.
