Hi,

I booked this thru DCL I didn't use a TA.

I thought I read that docs arrive via UPS, then I read that they arrive reg. mail.

Thanks
Aislinn

the last cruise was 2002 and mine came by fedex overnight call dcl and ask them how and when your doc's will be shipping that is how i knew when my were coming.good luck

Mine arrived UPS, left on front porch, booked through DCL. Just got back 1 month ago, can't wait to go back.

Thank you so much for asking this question! We just moved and this reminded me to call to have our documents sent to the right address. We are in the process of building a house and are living with my MIL. We opened a PO Box for our mail so we don't get our mail mixed up with my MIL. When I talked to DCL they said that I would have to give an address not a PO Box because the documents are sent by FedEx. No problem there! Just want to make sure that we get the darn things. Thanks!:D

Mine arrived UPS a few weeks( I believe) before the cruise. Beware, I was visiting my family out of state for two weeks and when I came back they were sitting on my doorstep. I was furious! I couldn't believe they would leave something so valuable on my doorstep when I wasn't home. Who knows how long they were sitting there. We were living on an AF base at the time and I know the chances of someone taking them were slim but I was still very upset. I know they couldn't have done anything with them, but they wouldn't have known what was in the box when they took it.

does anyone know how the docs arrive if you book through AAA? my concern is that i work nights, and tend to not hear the door. i've had more than one package NOT left because of this...and i've had to drive around to the fedex/ups store to find it.

Our 2000 & 2001 cruises we booked through Disney Travel desk at Woodfield Mall, when our docs came in they called and we picked them up there. For our 2002 cruise we booked through Disney online, our docs came FedEx and we had to go pick them up at Fed-Ex. For our 2003 & 2004 we used Dreams, our docs were left on our doorstep and we found them when we returned from work.

the last time we booked thru AAA our docs came almost two and a half weeks before the cruise, boy were we worried because when you book thru DCL the docs come long before the cruise. i believe they came by way of UPS.

TinkerbellRN we also booked through AAA and the TA told us that our documents will be sent to her. Once she gets them, she will give us a call and we can either pick it up or she can mail it to us. She did say though, that she would prefer for us to pick it up.

I booked through Costco and the docs came in the regular mail.

UPS lately for us, booked through Dreams Unlimited. That's always an annoyance because for some reason our UPS man will NEVER leave a package without a signature. Weird because we live in a condo building where no one would steal it...neighbors will usually bring packages in behind the security door. I called UPS to complain once and they had no explanation. I think something must have gotten stolen once somewhere in our town and scarred our UPS man for life.

DCL uses UPS. Barb's scenario is unusual since UPS doesn't require a signature when delivering these documents.

Dreams Unlimited has the documents delivered directly to you. Every agency has the same option. It's their choice to get them first or to have them delivered right to your door via DCL. If you get them through the mail or via FedEx, it's because the agency rerouted them from their location.
