I know the crowd calendar isn't really accurate, but wondering how MK will be December 10th. I would imagine that weekends would be crowded. Last time we went the weekend prior to christmas and it was REALLY crowded. We couldn't wait to leave

Sat. Dec. 10, 2016 will be moderately busy.

I could tell you more, but unfortunately…

(That is the same reason that the crowd calendar isn't really accurate, either.)

I CAN tell you that Sat. Dec. 10, 2016 will be much LESS busy than Sat. Dec. 24, 2016!

;)
:welcome: to posting on the DISboards, Tucker!

we were there dec of 2014 (i think the actual date was sat dec 13?) and it was NUTS. it was our first day of a week trip and we thought MK was the way to start our trip. i thought "this sucks, i wanna go home". big line ups for EVERYTHING, every ride, bad quick service restaurants, bathrooms, etc... the good news was, every other day after that was a pleasant surprise because it was never that bad the rest of the week.

the good news is, even if it's busy, it's not august hot AND busy! ;)

So much is up in the air right now, it is impossible to predict. As @Robo illustrated, the Crystal Ball is out of order.
But early December has historically been less busy - not not busy - than later in the month. It is never quiet anymore

my crowds at disney are in 4 levels

1 crowded
2 very crowded
3 whey the ____ did I come today
4 so crowded you can barley move.

I think early decenter will be between a 2 and a 3

but like others have said it will not be like latter in the month

have fun

I have heard from timeshare employees that the parks have a lighter crowd between Thanksgiving and Christmas because people tend to make plans for one of the 2. However with the Christmas party and locals the crowds may still be high. If MK has the Christmas party that night , it may not be that bad in the morning/afternoon.

Saturdays that time of year are one of the few days there is no Christmas party. It will be very busy.

They never have Christmas parties on Saturdays.

Yep, because with 4 parties per week, there are fewer opportunities to see MSEP and Wishes, so the days that have them are more crowded.

From what I understand, Saturday's are usually the most crowded days for MK, second worst being Monday's. Now, Couple a Saturday with a non party day during party season, personally I would avoid if at all possible.
