How crazy (crowded) is it President's Week?

I have been to Disney a handful of times, and most of it has been on off-peak times (on purpose.)
I'm a bit concerned over crowd levels President's Week but it is what it is!

How bad will it be? I know there are crowd calenders..but I like to ask real people. :)

Went once .... that was enough. But hey, there are so few low crowd times anymore, you just go when you can go.

We have been several times, it is busy but I did not think it was as busy as Easter week or July. Rope drop and planning are very important to make the most of this week. I wouldn't stress over it, we have had wonderful trips over President Day week, my kids winter break is always that week so we make it work. We went last April right after Easter and this was the busiest I have seen it.

Busy but very easily doable with planning. Use RD, EMH, FP+ and ADR. We have done it twice and are doing it again this year and I "don't do crowds" lol! We RD every day at the park with EMH or just a regular opening RD. Mid day break at resort for pool, nap, etc. Then we use our FP+ and hop to another park making the FP for 4:30 or later. We typically ended every night at MK as it was open at least until midnight. Oh, and if you can, utilize the few single rider options they offer. There are a few other threads on this if you have time to search and don't get overwhelmed with too many opinions! Enjoy your trip!

Well be there that week. I'm actually going for a conference and didn't realize it was Presidents Week. So we're doing MK on Sunday and taking a non-park day on Monday hoping to avoid a bit of the crowd. We'll see!

It can be made worse if President's Day falls in the same week as Mardi Gras because then you have 80% of Louisiana there with you also.

We're going to be there for Presidents Day weekend for a gymnastics meet and are doing park days on Friday and Saturday, with my DD competing on Sunday. (Fair warning: if you're staying at Caribbean Beach or All-Star Sports, they will be packed with gymnasts!) We're used to going in the summer, so we're pretty accustomed to planning out our days and making the most of early morning touring. I'm definitely nervous about the crowds, but I'm looking forward to touring without the heat and humidity!

We have gone several times on Pres week. We will be there the weekend of PresDay and the weekend after this year (w the DisneyDream in between).

It crowded, but not slammed. The fact that Mardi Gras is the week before is a good sign. But with the economy better... that's a bad sign.

Have a good touring plan, and you will be fine.

It's also worth noting that the Princess Half Marathon Expo starts on Thursday of that week. By Thursday and Friday there will be a lot of runners arriving. :)
