....is it when you order something from Taco Bell, and they ask you if you want hot or mild sauce and you say "no thanks" you ALWAYS end up with several fistfulls of sauce anyways. However, if you say "yes please" you're lucky to get two measly packets?? :confused3 I wonder if it just my Taco Bell. :scratchin

My annoyance? Ice.

I ask for "extra extra extra ice" I want a cupfull of ice - with measly amounts of soda.

I get my drink. 3 - 4 cubes floating around.

What would I have gotten if I DIDNT order extra extra extra? A half a cube?

That's why my husband always asks for a specific number. He'll say for example, "I would like 5 mild sauce." He doesn't necessarily need precisely 5, but he knows he will get more then 1, less then 20 this way.

I'd like to know why they don't understand their own menus? :confused3 I like soft shell supremes - supreme means ADD SOUR CREAM!!!!! 95% of the time, there is no sour cream.

I'd settle for order takers that understand English. I had to repeat an order 5 times once to make myself understood. And this was inside at the counter, not through the squak-box intercom at the drive-thru. Nothing against imagrants, but if you're going to work with the public, get a better handle on your English! The order was fast, hot, and right, though, so I guess I can't complain too much! :)

My DH does this every time he orders a soft drink and I always ask "is one extra not going to be enough?" and like you, he insists you must have 3 extras to get a decent amount of ice... :rotfl:

I have to ask for sauce most of the time. They never give me the right amount.

I have come to learn that it is all drive thru windows. Now, I just pull up to the speaker and say, "You know what? Let's just save each other some time. Give me whatever, because that's what you're going to do anyway." :rotfl2:

I always take the time to check my order before pulling away from the window and ask for what I need. I have gotten a kids meal at burger king without the hamburger??? :confused3

At Taco Bell you get sauce with your lettuce...plus a teeny tiny bit of cheese and meat just to add a little flavor to your taco. :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

At ours, you don't get any packets when you ask for them... Most of the time, the whole order is wrong.

I'm just trying to make sure you're not lonely and talking to yourself again. The ppl in the white coats are watching you.

Okay, I love Taco Bell (I'm almost ashamed to admit it). :)
Well, at least the zesty chicken bowl. I ditch the dressing and drown it in fire sauce. They never give enough packets, so I've taken to going into the restaurant where they have a "help yourself" sauce display. Yay!
