How can post a jpg picture from my own file?

I would love to share some pictures of the food we ate - but we do not use photobucket.

I have jpg pictures in my picture file on my PC.
Can I post them some how? Directions ?

No you have to use a photo sharing site that will convert them to img links. I like photobucket the best. It is really simple and it is free!

I use photobucket as well. Once you have them uploaded to the image hosting site you can copy/paste the direct link URL and use the "insert image" icon (looks like a mountain with a sun) in the toolbar section of the message window (where you type your review/comments etc.)

There is a test section on the Disboards that you may want to use to get familiar and test your post with your photos.

It sounds more confusing than it is.

There's a lot of different free hosting sites. Since a lot of the pictures I take are with my Android phone, I just upload them using Google+, then they're in my Google account and post directly from there. You could also upload it to facebook, and post from there as long as your pictures are "public". I like the social networking sites to hold my photos because it kills two birds with one stone ... allows me to post here and makes my friends hungry!
