How busy is Universal in April or is June better???

How busy is Universal in April????
I'm considering visiting Universal and then going to WDW in April and I would like to know from those of you who have gone during this time. How crowded is Universal at this point is it out of control due to spring break or is it tolerable?


Or is June better? When the kids are out of school.

We went last Easter and it was fairly crowded, but didn't seem as crowded as when we did Disney in July.

Maybe it was crowded and because we had FTL passes we just didn't notice. It definitely was busy. I woudn't go the week before or after Easter without staying on site for those passes.

Go in June so you can ride the Mummy coaster. That is, if you like coasters and fun rides.

We were there last year at Easter and stayed on site - Hard Rock Hotel. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes with the room card key. It was awesome!
