Hey gang,

How busy has magic kingdom been with the fantasyland expansion and all? We will be there this upcoming Tuesday and was curious.

Was there last night and park crowded. Belle was 60 min wait. Character meets 20 min. People mover had overflow line :( After fireworks Adventureland rides were walk on.

I am wondering the same... We will be at MK tomorrow and Tuesday, hoping the weekdays are less crowded despite New Fantastyland. *fingers crossed*

I was at the MK today. It wasnt "Too" bad, except for a few areas. The new fantasyland was very busy.. Line for little mermaid attraction was 90 mins.. the line for lunch at be our guest was long, stretching all the way out and around the outsied of the restaurant..and of course the normal areas of the old fantasyland were busy. But otherwise, BTMRR was 20 min wait, Space Mtn was 30 min..Haunted mansion was almost a walk on..Splash Mt was about 30 min..But today the MK did not have emh, and there is a party tonight, so that normally makes the MK the non prefered park for the day,

From a crowd perspective, crowd calendars tend to recommend it precisely because it is a party day. Crowds are often lower during these days because the day guests don't have a chance at any of the usual nighttime events.

We were there today. Got in at 8 and went straight to New Fantasyland so did that with little crowd. That area did get crowded later. We wanted to eat lunch at BoG but the CM said the line was 45-60 minutes (it was almost to Gaston's Tavern) at 11:20 am. We went to an empty CHH instead. The rest of the park was not busy.

Hey gang,

How busy has magic kingdom been with the fantasyland expansion and all? We will be there this upcoming Tuesday and was curious.

We were there the last two weeks and walked around FLE and did what we wanted including eating lunch at BOG two days with minimal wait, once near end of bridge by castle - 10 min tops.

Then like a light turned on, at opening day and after, the crowds were really high. So glad we did what we wanted before official opening - just don't understand why it (the crowds) jumped so fast when FLE has been open for 3 weeks (little more or less). Were people actually not realizing it was open and just waiting for official day? Hard to believe that many more people came just for official opening and after :confused3

We loved it, but would not want to be there now and fight the crowds.

Anyone in the parks today (Monday)? How were the crowd levels?

I was there last week--not on a weekend day. Line for Tales with Belle was 75 minutes at 10 a.m. Nothing else was over 20. We walked on Splash 3x in a row. So I would say the crowds are varying significantly from day to day.

Was at MK yesterday and it was pretty crowded. The Under the Sea ride had a 100 minute wait, and had a line to even get the fast pass. We waited for EMH to go on and we had no wait whatsoever. I can't tell you how long the big rides were in other areas because was skipped those to go on them today. Though Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan etc were packed most of the yesterday... we utilized fast passes for sure. Today (tuesday), The crowd level is lower (but still a little more than I was expecting/hoping for.) It's been 10 to 20 minutes for most rides though. :) Be Our Guest lunch wait at around 11:00am today was about a half hour. It didn't feel that long and the lunch was very delicious and such a cool atmosphere. :)

Two weeks ago it was kind of weird - wait times were generally short, but there was a lot of foot traffic making the park FEEL very crowded. There were bottlenecks in Main Street and Fantasyland.

similar experience Sunday.. Fantasyland looked packed (didn't attempt the new stuff on that trip). 20 mins for Thunder, 10 for Splash and 30 for Space Mountain.
Other stuff was pretty much walk on.. good time it seems to be in the parks!

We were there today and it was not crowed at all in the morning (9am) in the fantasyland and new fantasyland area. It started getting very crowded there by 11:30 though. We ate at CHH which was not crowded and frontier land, BTMR and SM weren't bad at all. We used FP but the standby line wait times were low (15-20 min.). The 3:00 parade was also not that crowded. HTH:-)

We thought it was great today! Fairly busy in New Fantasyland but waited less than 10 min for new Ariel ride around 10. Used a few fast passes but most things were little to no wait, most around 10 minutes with the exception of Pooh, Peter Pan, etc. Rain was the biggest bummer!

If you stay away from the MK on Sats, Mon, and emh days, you should be ok as far as crowds. Just check the disney calender for the MK,,and other parks, and look at the hours. if the day has emh hours, or has hours that are open late(past midnight) then stay away.

Exactly the reason i went to the mk, becasue it was aparty night, and no emh..lol
