How bad is Test Track?

I am a chicken. I don't like rollercoasters AT ALL. I didn't even like Goofy's Barnstormer. My family wants to ride test track, so how bad is it? I watched a video but it's hard to tell.

Very fun. When inside, the car quickly accelerates and then stops for various 'test's. At the end, it goes on the outside track fast.

If you can ride on an interstate going 70, this is similar. It does have some tight turns and a few swerves, but really does not have that "roller coaster feel". No hills, no upside down! I enjoy it because it is the only way I will ever experience those quick turns. Or ride in a convertible.

I recently took the Undiscovered Future World tour and part of it was to peek in to the repair garage area where they work on the cars, and to get to stand under the track and see how fleixible it is... the supporting posts actually sit on bearings and the track moves quite a bit as the cars are going around. They stratigically landscaped so guests can't see this movement, thinking it would make us nervous if we didn't understand why it's built that way (probably a good idea) - it would break apart if it didn't flex. Not to scare you off or anything... it's a fun ride.

We love test track, not roller coaster like at all! Even our 7 yr old who is also a big chicken and hates ALL roller coasters loves TT. Like others have said it is just fast.

I don't go near roller coasters, and have major problems w motion sickness -- ( although for some reason, I am fine on "Soarin and Dinosaur) --- but I love test track !! Took our 4-yr old for his 1st time in April and he is obsessed with it now !!

let me put it this way...
my mom (68 next month) hates roller coasters/thrill rides and skinned her knees on thunder mountain 20 some odd years ago because she braced herself so much can ride test track.
my words of wisdom to anyone thats scared of test track is that if my mom can do it then so can you lol.

You go waaay faster on the interstate, of course in a much larger vehicle and for most, not a convertible......

I assume, i am chicken and i was in pure fear in the fast portion of test track when it turn.
