how bad is memorial day weekend?

Hi - we're planning a short stay at the world over the memorial day weekend. How crowded is it? Is it crowded like the summer or crazy like the holidays? thanks all

Sorry no answer for you...but curious as to replies....we are also contemplating a weekend trip!

the only day for that weekend thats somewhat busy is on ACTUAL memorial day, and i was at the MK on memorial day, we hopped to AK and it was manageable, we went on Memorial Day in 08 and were going again this coming memorial day! its beautiful and the crowds are VERY manageable

Been twice during Mem Day a few years back. It coincided then with Star Wars weekends so MGM (then and now as far as I'm concerned!)....oh, ok DHS was crowded when the movie characters were there for autographs. the other parks were fine. I think SWWeekends may be in June now but I'm not sure. I'd recommend it b/c most schools are still in session and some won't make the long journey for a 3-day trip.

Was there 07 the Weds before Memorial day-tuesday after....crowds were very manageable apart from Memorial Day. We were at Epcot that day and it was horrible...apart from that day we thought it was busy through the weekend but didn't affect not getting everything done we wanted to get done.
