Here is the deal. My dad is leaving on Thanksgiving day, but I am planning on staying home with my family. The next day, I plan on flying out and meeting him at Fort Wilderness where his camper will be. I have only taken Tiffany Town Car on our last trip with just my wife and myself, I just think it may be too costly. How is Mears and how long should I expect about to get to Fort Wilderness.

Thanks in advance.

This is a tough one but I'll try. Mears decides upon what kind of vechicle to put you in depending on the amount of people and where everyone is going. You might be on a van or you might be on a large bus. It can take quite a while for them to decide who goes on what vehicle. They will also wait to fill in the vehicles as much as possible so you may have to wait for more flights to come in. Finally, you may only make one or two other hotel stops or you might make a dozen stops before you get to Fort Wilderness. No way to know ahead of time.
If you really want to make good time I would skip Mears and spend the extra on a car service.

I have taken Mears to Fort Wilderness before and the wait wasn't that bad, maybe 20 minutes or so. It wasn't a bad experience and when there is only one person going, you can't beat the price.
