I have to offer a contrary opinion of Teppan Edo. The food was pretty good and the chef was somewhat entertaining. However, if you are a fan of Japanese steakhouses, I think you will be disapointed. There is no fire (at least there wasn't when we went last week.) I understand that this may be so that small children won't be frightened, but it's part of the experience for me. Also, I am accustomed to soup and salad being included at this type of restaurant, and at Teppan Edo you would have to order them separately. I've been to at least five different non-Disney Japanese steakhouses between Atlanta and Greenville and enjoyed them all more than Teppan Edo. In the Japanese steakhouse genre, I can only give Teppan Edo 2.5 out of 5 stars.
