New to the DVC. Any input on the one, two bedroom at SSR?.
When booking, what rooms are good for viewing. Overlooking DTD or pool side? Are the two bedrooms big enough to sleep eight. like they say? 4 adults/ 3- teenagers / 1 five mo. Any information greatly appreciated. We are new to SSR and has been assigned to be our home base. Going with family / friends this time around. However, when we go back we will be staying in the one bedroom. Any info. on SSR would be greatly appreciated. Already made booking for May, 2006.

Thanks, jjr

For a DTD view you want congress park. The Springs for the main pool.Great slide.Zero entry at one end. You will want a dedicated 2 br so you will have 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom.Pull out in the living rm. King in the master. The 1 br has the pull out in the living rm and a king in the master brm. SSR is our home and we love the DTD view. Its a 5 to 7 min. walk to DTD from Congress Park and the same to the main pool.Bus service is very good. Its a great place to relax.Hope you have a great time. :goodvibes

The two middle buildings, on the upper floors of Congress Park have a pool view and DTD view. They are nice because they aren't quite so close to the action of PI but you get the view. The resort is very stunning at night. I love it! :cheer2:

Thanks to all who provided the info. regarding SSR. Hope our stay will be most enjoyable.

Thanks again.
