How Are The Newly Weds Today? An Italian Wedding & Disneymoon Extravaganza! *UpDate*

I've just caught up on your DLRP update!! It's making me so excited about going later in the year!!

I love all your photos!! And I'm loving seeing inside the Disneyland Hotel!!

Dave - what camera and lens do you have, if you don't mind me asking? I have a Canon 550d and love taking photos with it when I get the chance!!

I have a Tamron AF18-200 Sony for my Sony Alpha A390

Great day so far! I had no idea there was an Earl of Sandwich there.

In answer to your question about our trip to Europe, we'll be there from June 29th through July 14th.

My mom is from Belgium (immigrated here), and we still have family there, so we're going to be staying there the whole time and visit there, Holland, Germany, Luxembourg, and then make a mini trip over to DLRP. We visited Paris a year and a half ago, and surprisingly DLRP is what I feel I missed out on because I was so jet lagged!

Nice!! I've got the Tamron 18-250, which incidentally, DH managed to drop when we were last in DLRP so had to get it fixed!! I've also got the Tamron 17-55 but I do love having the longer zoom to play with on the other lens!! I'm loving your photos!! :thumbsup2

Thanks, I don't really rate my pictures compared to all those guys on the photography board though

If I was rich enough I would get an even better all purpose lens as I would like an 18-300 or something. I don't like the idea of changing lenses much but I do want a macro and also a fish eye lens at some point.

All caught up! Your wedding looked awesome--congrats!

Can't wait to see more of DLRP. Before our last Disney trip Joyce (joyciemc) and I watched a bunch of the Disney Parks movies on NetFlix. We also watched "International Theme Parks" which was supposed to be about DLRP and Tokyo DisneySea...Turned out it was basically someone's home movie--honestly a person holding a video camera, walking around the park. I think when they sat on the whole Haunted Mansion ride was when we finally turned it off. I'm sure your pictures and descriptions will bring the park more to life that that crap DVD :goodvibes

Also, glad you liked breakfast at Boma. Joyce and I are tentatively planning a Boma breakfast on our trip in the fall. We heard the food is very *different*, but fantastic. Any big winners or losers on the menu?

I totally understand about not wanting to change lenses much!! I found it a nuisance before I had kids, now I just find it impossible!! But I needed a faster lens as my little girls just won't keep still at the moment!!

DLPR is really beautiful! It looks like there are so many little details that just make the theming amazing. And the hotel...it is gorgeous! I'm glad you two had fun there.

Thanks so much for the DLP updates and all of the pictures! DLP definitel has the best castle. Not only is it beautiful from the outside, but the "innards" are interesting as well!

Hi and :welcome: Thanks for reading along :)

I love the castle there, WDW will always be my favourite, but this one I love for all the detail :)

Yay for being all caught up :) You will have a great time in DLRP, when are you going and where are you staying?

Also, glad you liked breakfast at Boma. Joyce and I are tentatively planning a Boma breakfast on our trip in the fall. We heard the food is very *different*, but fantastic. Any big winners or losers on the menu?

Hi and :welcome: Thanks for joining in. Hope you and Joyce are doing good :)

Thanks for the congrats and lovely comments :)

I know what you mean about watching home videos of WDW, as much as you love seeing the park, its just kinda boring when you are just walking and there is no talking.

We would love to visit the other parks around the world. Am quite keen on Tokyo Disney, but need some serious cash for that place. You guys think you will visit an International Park?

We loved Boma for breakfast, they have alot of the traditional breakfast foods like omlettes, bacon, etc and then there is the African dishes too which are pretty good and the Jungle Juice, oh my that juice is delish :cloud9: You will defo love it, oh and I heard the pressed pot coffee is supposed to be really good. Haven't tried it myself as I am not a coffee drinker.

Hi Stefy,

I love your DLP pictures, looks like you both had a blast! :goodvibes

Thanks, we had a great time there, so glad we gave it another try :)

Those are some amazing pictures of DLP! Great updates!

Thanks :)

Thanks :) The detail in DLRP is incredible, it really does put WDW to shame. I just wish there were more books about it on Imagineering like there is for FL.

Hi All

I am so so sorry for losing my update roll, have been AWOL due to work being really busy and then to cap that off I have been (and still am) sick with flu and sinusitis :(

But fear not, I am going to get this TR back on track and finish DLRP so we can get back to our original schedule :)

Hope everyone is doing good, nearly the weekend :yay:

Stefy :flower3:

We'd like to visit an international park, but I'm sure that'll be waaaay down the line. We've tentatively got our next 6 vacations planned out which will put us somewhere in 2015 before an opening for Paris or Japan :rotfl:

Glad to hear the good news on Boma. We definitely ARE coffee drinkers, so we'll be sure to check out the Boma coffee!

Lol I remember that snow and how it cancelled some of the football matches! :lmao:

Love the yummy treats and am glad that you both enjoyed Disneyland.

Oh no on not feeling well Stefy - hope you're feeling better

Are you watching the Arsenal game - they are not doing too well at the minute are they? ;)
