How About MK on Tuesdays?

I'll be in FL on business for a couple of weeks in Jan and was thinking of giving myself a birthday present of a day or 2 at WDW.

I'd love to see Spectromagic which is scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays only. I see from several threads that I should avoid the MK on Saturdays but am wondering how bad Tuesdays might be in mid to late Jan?

We were at the MK on a Tuesday the first part of Dec. No problems at all. I think it will be a good day for you in Jan., as well.

We were there on a Tuesday in early December, when they were showing Spectro. While we did not stay for the parade, we were there until mid afternoon, and the crowds were fine. We also went on Saturday AM of the same week, and the crowds were awful.

Will the locals venture out to MK on a Tuesday if its COLD out??? If the weather stays as its forcasted in 10 days, the lows are in teh 40's. Would a 40 degree night keep the locals at home??

Because the crowds are low. Tourists are in a hurry to see MK so they go Sat, Sun or Mon.

Saturday is the worse.

Yes locals will go if it's 40. the advantage of living here is we don't have to go when it is 90, although many do.

Florida Cat- Well thats not what I wanted to hear haha. I was hoping chilly weather would keep you guys all home!! Ok, Im coming the Friday of Martin Luther King weekend and will be going to MK that day, in hopes its not too bad there yet. I was planning on avoiding MK Sat, Sun and Mon, and going on Tuesday when the crowds are gone. How crowded do you think that particular Tues. be, right after a holiday weekend? Any idea?

A full day at MK on 2/24 is our plan, lunch at the Plaza and dinner at LTT followed by spectro and wishes.... but that is "Fat Tues." of Mardi Gras, and thoughts on crowds?

That's the day we are planning on going to MK during our week's stay. I really wanted to go Monday but many folks on this board persuaded me to choose Tuesday. We arrive Sunday so Monday is our first day in the parks. Can anyone suggest a good park for Monday? (My son is 7) Or we might still do MK on Monday but go bright and early and only stay a half day. hhhhmmmm, can't decide since MK and AK are the parks I want to see the most. Any advice for the best strategy for President's week? I'm still wondering if the weather will be warm enough for a trip to BB?!
