I would never go to WDW either without my children, not in a million yearslclark0621 said:Wow! Am I the only one who wants to travel on vacation with their kid? DH & I, would not even think about going on an "Adult" vacation while our kids are young. I just could never imagine going to some place like Disney World without my DS. When we go on vacation, we go as a FAMILY & we enjoy every second. There is no yelling, no fighting, no worrying about our DS falling asleep in the stroller. Who cares if he sleeps through a show, I am not losing money because my son needs a nap. He is on vacation to.
If you all dislike kids so much, how about going somewhere that kids are not allowed all the time? There are plenty of adult only destinations. Why complain about kids in a family theme park?![]()

I'm not saying I don't like kids (though I'm not saying I like them either), I have a 6 year old myself! But you can't deny there is a LOT less to deal with on a vaca whenever it's not filled with kids having meltdowns by 6 pm.

Grumpies R Us.....i'd rather be grumpy & happy than annoyed & miserable!

and yes, they do have gay week and food & wine festival time, ESPN week and so on and so on....so why not ADULT ONLY WEEKEND....![]()
what is the harm.![]()
I have two beautiful kids.. always have taken them to wdw but would be thrilled, yes I tell you thrilled to go with DH alone and not see any whiney screaming meltdown kids, no strollers, no one pushing me over with those stupid rolling backpacks, etc etc
but we all know this would never be a reality because even it was to come to fruition, all the protesting parents would show up with kids in tow that same weekend just to prove a point and Disney would welcome them with open arrms
so guess this is all a mute point..

I understand people without kids love Disney to. Heck, DH & I went multiple times before we had a child & we loved every second of it then. But we never complained or cared about children there. We would just smile at them. Heck, we were at Disney World. Why do I care if someone else's kid is having a tantrum? It does not affect or ruin my vacation one bit. And if my DS has a tantrum, and you let it bother you, then you are just wasting way to much time, caring about my DS.

I'm sorry but that is pushing the edge of reason...I hope I never get that sensative about anything...We all like to go to WDW, right? Lets keep that in mind.
There is no question whatsoever that any of us parents love our kids! That is not being questioned here.
This is not a "black or white" issue, there's all this gray area! I'd love to see these people in about 10 years and see if they've changed their minds at all.
