lmillercrew-thanks so much for the kind thoughts.
(I had this typed once and thanks to a little helper, get to start again!)
Carter's doing much better now that he's been on his meds for a couple of days. There was a bit of miscommunication as DH said he needed the amoxicilian three times a day. In looking at the bottle today, he only needs it twice a day...

Between that and the decongestant though, he seems to be doing well.
Dan spent over 5 hours yesterday sitting in at a dealership trying to get our van fixed...over 5 hours and almost $450 later, at least the door is fixed. They couldn't believe why I wouldn't let him pay them $25 to change a brake light.

Can't imagine why!
Friends came over last night for dinner and Corbin was outside playing seriously, almost all day. He was only in for about an hour once he started playing outside in the morning. When he was in the house after dinner, he was really stuffy. I thought it was just a sinus infection that he caught from his little brother. Thinking that I would finally get some sleep last night, I got woken up about midnight by my little man who could hardly breathe through all of his wheezing. I kept asking if he was ok and he couldn't answer me. Being the paranoid mom that I am, I was ready to take him to the ER but was worried that taking him out would make it worse. Knowing who would come to my house if I called 911 (as I work at the fire station around the corner from our house), I knew they'd take great care of him. He kept nodding his head when I was asking him it he was ok. We sat in the chair the rest of the night with the dehumidifier and warm towels on his chest. He finally went back to sleep but mommy couldn't.
Dan got up this morning and took him to a redi-med place (not the ER but not a regular doctor's office). He came home with two prescriptions of his own for an upper respiratory infection and the beginnings of bronchitus.

He was in a great mood when he got home so Dan went to get the prescriptions filled and he hung out in the spare room while I cleaned up my scrapbooking stuff. He was having a great time having mommy wait on him.

He's napping comfortably right now so hopefully he'll be better soon.
While Dan was at the dealership about the van and Corbin was outside playing, I managed to get the house cleaned up which was a huge relief. My reason for cleaning the house (aside from having to because I'm the adult) is that I was looking for my Disney binder.
Yes...you read that right. The infamous Disney binder was MISSING! Dan kept telling me that if I gave him 20 minutes, he'd be able to find it...needless to say that didn't happen.
This morning, while cleaning up my scrapbooking stuff and getting his junk off my table, I found my Disney binder!!

I'm going to try and call today to see what I can do about our ADRs and adding DMIL to them.
Last week I sent off pictures for my personalized menus to Debbi at the Coral Reef. I also confirmed the custom cake order so all seems to be well there. Did I mention I decided on an 8" white cake with white buttercream with a Cars design on it. It will say something like "Happy Birthday Daddy and Corbin". Cannot wait to see it! Of course now I'm thinking that I want it to be Nemo themed since we're eating at Coral Reef....ugh.
I'm also debating about doing something sooner in our trip as the Coral Reef is our last full day at the parks.
I also emailed Betsy about our baskets...originally I asked her to deliver them on the day we check in. As great as that will work out, with us getting there at different times because DMIL is flying, I think that getting them the following day will be perfect.
I also called All Star Sports awhile back to see about getting balloons or something in the room for the boys for their birthdays. They asked me to call back the week before we check in as that's when they'll get our ressie. So, I need to add that to my list to be sure I call back.
I delivered DMIL's shirts I made to her while we were in MI last week. She seemed very impressed with them. I guess we'll see if anyone wears them now.
On another Disney note, DH and I didn't have our "dream" wedding by any means. I very much had a budget wedding and we paid for a lot of it ourselves. At the time it was ok (I knew then it wasn't what I wanted but worked with our budget), but we'd agreed we'd do something different down the road. Originally we'd wanted to do something here in Charleston at the beach since we'd vacationed here and really loved it. Now that we're a bit more addicted to Disney, and people may actually come see us if we're at Disney instead of just at home, we're talking about a vow renewal ceremony at Disney in two years. In looking at some of the prices they sent me, it's going to cost more than what we paid for our wedding for 300 people!

I guess you pay extra for the "magic". As long as we're not lectured on how we're going to hell during our wedding sermon this time, it will be money well spent.
Ok off to try and look for some Disney wedding deals and catch up on my scrapbooking-Carter doesn't exsist in scrapbooks-that's how far behind I am! DH's doing his DISboards football draft in a couple hours so we'll see what happens this afternoon....
Have a great Labor Day Weekend!
