tell me what you all think? good, bad, indifferent. also, do they take PS arrangements? thanks:p

House of Blues is one of our favorite places to dine at WDW. We have eaten here on our last 3 trips and it is a must for us on each of our trips in the future. We have had there meatloaf & Jambalya and both our really good. Try an order of Cornbread with your dinner it's out of this world. The portions are really big so my Wife and myself usually split a meal and an order of cornbread.

No PS as it's not in the "Disney" system. We ate lunch there I personally wouldn't go back. It wasn't terrible, but for the price, was not that great. The kids pizzas were as big as large dinner plates - our 3 couldn't have finished 2 of them, much less 3. We got a buy one get one free from the Entertainment book and lunch was still over $60 with no alc. beverages. We ate at better place for the same price.

We love the House of Blues and are planning a return trip there in December. The food is good and we love the atmosphere. I don't know about PS, but I don't think you would need it. Their banana bread pudding was wonderful!:p

HOB is terrific! The service is very good and the food is fantastic. However, be warned -- their portions, even for appetizers, are HUGE (and I am a big eater). For example, I could have 1 (one) of their appetizers as an ENTREE and be fairly full. HOB doesn't skimp on their portions.

Their steaks are fairly good, but both my DW and I love their spicy meatloaf. Their chicken dinners are also very good. The kids would like the chicken fingers.

The desserts are wonderful -- if you have any room left.

They do not take PS, but if you go during non-peak times, you should be ok.

Dinner time can be packed early -- I would go BEFORE the first Cirque show (before 6 p.m.) -- after that it could be a long wait for a table.

WOW! Maybe it depends on what you get, but my 3-person family was amazed at how SMALL the portions were at HOB. We had been sharing entrees everywhere else (and still walking away stuffed!). But when we got to HOB, there was so little on the plates, for such a lot of money, we ended up going somewhere else for some dessert to fill ourselves up. You are not talking really big eaters here, either. As I said, we are a family of three and typically order two entrees (no appetizers, no desserts, no drinks except a soda) and walk away stuffed from virtually every other place at WDW we ate.

The food was tasty, but in our experience (last month), the portions were not large.
