Hotel recommendation for stop on drive from Chicago

Hi all-
We're planning on driving to Orlando in August. We'd like to get the bulk of the driving done the first day (around 12 hours). Can anyone recommend a nice place? We definitely need a pool for the kids.

We've never done this drive before so any other helpful hints would be appreciated. We're planning on taking the I57 route.
