Hotel near MCO?

I've just realized that almost all the flights are booked for our day of return and we haven't booked yet. I doubt we'll be able to extend our SOG ressies another night...probably already booked also. So, does anyone have a good hotel to recommend that is near the airport? (MCO) There are 6 of us. (may mean getting two rooms, but would prefer not) We could check out of the CR and move to a hotel closer to the airport after spending an "extra" day at the parks! Hopefully, we'll be able to get a flight the next day. (still working on that)

There are lots of hotels near the airport. You might want to try priceline.

I got the Marriott for around $35. I know there is an Amerisuites near there which might work for your large family. There was also a Marriott Courtyard and I seem to recall a LaQuinta.

The absolute closest hotel is the Hyatt in the airport, but it is around $120-$150 a night.

Thanks so much for your help! Just for kicks, I called SOG to see if we could add a night this close to our travel dates, and lo and behold, they had two rooms available! (that means it may not be very crowded! Yippeee!) This means we get an extra day in the park without me having to beg dh!!!
I'm now beginning to get excited! I booked our flights yesterday and made our extended hotel ressies! Now we just have to buy our tix!
