We're staying for 8 nights in a GV at BWV. Starts on a Sat night. We need to fly in on Friday however. Where do people usually stay? I need 2-3 rooms. The last time I did this the airport Hyatt gave the 2nd room 1/2 price- no more.
Thanks.

We did this once - we stayed at the Rhodeway Inn on Interenational Drive. A cheap but clean place - somewhere comfortable to lay our weary heads for the night as we arrived from the UK (5 hours time difference). I cannot see the point in paying for an expensive room for one night if, like us, you vacation on a budget. Anyway, more money to spend at WDW.

We got a good rate from the DIS.

Try hotelkingdom.com, Cypress Pointe Villas (or Grande Villas). You can usually get a 3 b/r condo for about $135, a 2 b/r for under $100. It's offsite, but it's cheap and close to Disney.

We were at WDW last week and spent our arrival night at POR. I used Dreams Unlimited and I think it was $118. POR moved our luggage the next morning over to BCV, where we spent the rest of the week. Saved us the weekend points!

I'd vote for Cypress Point also, you can get good deals for there on the net. We had 10 people that stayed in a two bedroom this past summer. For about $60 a night. We always travel with air matress, it just makes it easier if someone gets a burr up the behind.

We also like the hotels on Black Lake Road, quick access to the back side of Disney property. Holiday Inn, Ramada are a few I can remember.

We always use Priceline and select the Disney World Area (or somethng like that) and always get either the Hilton or Wyndham for far less than the going rate. Try www.biddingfortravel.com to see what the current winning priceline bids in that area have been going for. Good Luck!

We stayed at the Comfort Inn near Universal, $39.00 per night. Not bad for a night.

If you are not renting a car..then I would do value or moderate (2 rooms at WDW). First of all you do not have to move your luggage, you do not need a car, you save money, and you can seperate it from your main reservation if you are going to do the food plan. If you are going to have access to a car, I would pack an ovenight bag, and stay some where reasonable, nice and close.
