Hotel Bathrooms

Hi there. I'm looking for a dw property w/ walk in shower with a handle bar, but my kids need a bathtub. Does anyone know what properties would have a walk-in shower plus a bathtub? Thanks!

The only places I can think of are the 12 bedroom and Grand Villas at Disney Vacation Club.
The fully accessible ones have a toll on shower in the master bath plus a whirlpool tub in smother part of the master bath.

Maybe getting 2 connecting rooms would work out for you? It's probaby cheaper that that... "12 bedroom" (luv ya Sue) place. Most of the WDW resorts have a roll-in shower room that connects to a room with a tub.

There. I think I got everything. And the suggestion for two connecting rooms is good, too - but connecting rooms are never guaranteed.

I think that if you call and ask for the adjoining rooms they should be able to help you out. I would think with a roll in shower they would know it is for medical reasons, but be sure to have them note it.

this is a problem that some people have... connecting vs adjoining. they are NOT one and the same. make sure you make it clear you need rooms that are connected, with an inner door. if you just saying adjoining that could mean rooms that share a wall... a wall without a door. just making sure to state that to avoid any confusion!

Just to make sure...I've heard the correct term Disney uses is connecting. Adjoining are next to each other but don't have the door that connects them.

I’ve seen quite a few posts over the years which stated “We didn’t get our request. We asked for adjoining rooms and they just gave us rooms next to each other.”

So, to be perfectly clear (which I am not know for on this thread today), ask for what you specifically want...
