My SIL loves hot sauce and puts it on everything!!!! I mean everything like eggs, tuna, chicken etc... I like hot sauce, but only put it on certain foods. What foods do you use hot sauce for?

When I was little, my mom used to put hot sauce on my thumb so I wouldn't suck it.

Well, for me using hot sauce or green chile takes the place of other condiments (mayo is too fatty and I don't like mustard) to give flavor to food. I've known lots of people who put ketchup on everything or people who pour salt on everything, so I don't know why this would be considered any different. To each his/her own!

I forgot to say that here in New Mexico, using chile or salsa or hot sauce is normal and you see folks putting on everything! That's what we do!

Yum! I love hot sauce. I use it in Chili or veggies or sometimes on sandwiches. I love it in Weight Watcher Lean Cuisines.

Different Hot Sauces for different foods. The plain old Red Hot I love to put on fried chicken. Tabasco makes a chiptole hot sauce that I use on fried oysters or clams. When making salsa or cocktail sauce, I will use a hot sauce called Blairs After Death Hot Sauce. It's a sauce made here in NJ and has a cute skull keychain attached to each bottle. (be careful, this sauce is rated at about 49,000 scoville heat units...very, very, hot) For pulled pork I normally use a sauce called J. Goldstein Garlic and Chiptole sauce and for Bloody Mary's I like a sauce called Hot Buns At The Beach. It's made in Delaware down by the ocean.

Red Beans & Rice and Shrimp PoBoys. Not together of course. Two different meals.

The usual chicken wings, tacos, fajitas, etc. I also like it on pork tenderloin and pizza.

Vegetable soup and Bloody Mary's :thumbsup2

i eat it on everything!!! i cant help but eat it on everything

I love Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Sauce! Get me a straw and I'll drink the stuff straight!! I put it on scrambled eggs, in tomato soup, dip pretzels in it, put it in spaghetti, on frozen dinners, lasagna, pizza (AWESOME!! :thumbsup2 ) and salads, mix it with mayonnaise and use it on sandwiches...ooo, and it is heavenly mixed with Sloppy Joes!

DH says I need to tap a vein and get it intraveneously!

Thats how my DS is. Every night with dinner he puts 3 different bottles of hot sauce on the table because he likes different ones with different things!

Dave's Insanity Sauce or habanero peppers in mint chocolate chip ice cream is great. Get that fire and ice feeling over the tongue and sliding down.

Dave's has a 110,000+ Scoville rating.

I've tried Daves Insanity Sauce in a chicken wing sauce mix. It certainly provided the heat. The absolute hottest sauce I have found is one made by Blair's. It's called Blair's 16 Million Reserve. It retails for 300 bucks and has an astonishing 16 MILLION Scoville Heat Units. It has all kids of warnings attached to it and is not meant to be used as a sauce but as an addative only. Blair signs and numbers each bottle. People must be crazy to even attempt to try it!

I like hot sauce on scrambled eggs, chicken, oysters, shrimp, crackers, fajitas, and steak. I don't like it on just any random food though.

I agree with those who say everything! The older I get, the less my poor tummy can tolerate it, though. :(

They even make a "Toad Sweat" sweet hot sauce that is to die for on ice cream! Yum! :)

I LOOVVEEEE hot sauce  ! There's not much I don't put it on. My fave's are chicken, pork, and eggs. The best that I have ever had is Busha Browne's Pukka Hot Sauce. Yummy!!!! Besides being hot, it has a wonderful flavor. It is made in Jamaica and have yet to find it in stores near my home. I am very close to purchasing it online. I would buy it by the case if I had too.
