2006 - Nemo’s Undersea Adventure / The Seas with Nemo & Friends - (7/20/06) Disney has announced to Cast Members that the entire “The Living Seas” pavilion will be renamed “The Seas with Nemo & Friends”. I believe the new ride itself will be named Nemo’s Undersea Adventure.

No official ride opening date yet.

2007 - The Laugh Floor Comedy Club - (7/20/06) The Cast Member news letter now lists the new Laugh Floor as opening to the public in January 2007. I’ve got to wonder if they may be able to hold soft previews over the busy holiday period as well, but it’s too soon right now to know. The theme of the ride is that after the discovery that human laughter creates more energy than human screams, Mike Wazowski had the idea to create a huge Comedy Club in order to harvest this laughter from large groups rather than from visiting one closet at a time. Roz isn’t convinces on the idea, so the pressure is on Mike to make it work. So guests will be entertained by a variety of digital monster comedians while a laugh canister and meter register just how well they are performing. From the sound of things, some of the characters may actually be controlled by live performers, as we’ve seen done with Crush at Turtle Talk, so they can interact and create jokes on the fly.

The new Monster's Inc. ride sounds awesome! But I don't know about the name change for the Living Seas. We'll see. Maybe it will just take some getting used to.

Thank goodness something is being done with the Living Seas. That place has gotten so rundown that Disney should have been embarrassed to have it in the park. The new Seas with Nemo and Friends sounds great. I can't wait to see it!!

We've noticed over our last few visits that more and more Nemo things have appeared in the Living Seas. I'm not surprised that they're changing the name too. As far as Laugh Floor Comedy Club (LFCC) sounds like a good reason for a trip in 2007!

I have no idea but I heard it is replacing Timekeeper. So, I guess it will go where ever that attraction was. I will look when I go back on July 29th!

I don't like the renaming of the Living Seas pavilion. I'm actually not thrilled with the amount of Nemo stuff there is in that pavilion. I mean I get it, Nemo is part of Disney and they want something that has to do with Nemo. And I do agree that they needed to do better with TLS. But I don't like that it's just become a Nemo attraction. That wasn't the point of the pavilion.
