We are considering starting our day at Epcot for the morning EMH (mostly to ride Soarin' standby) and then would like to hop over to HS to use our FP+.

Normally we take the boat between Epcot and HS but do the boats run that early from Epcot? Will we be able to get to the International Gateway before 11am?

Is there a bus to HS? How long is the walk if we choose that route?

Or what's the best choice for us with these circumstances?

Take the bus. You'll be much closer to the front of Epcot; the potential wait for either transport is the same 0-20/30 minutes; the bus ride is five minutes vs he boat being 25 with several stops.

Yes, the boats will be running at that hour. Yes, you can get to the International Gateway.

Yes, there is a bus that goes to HS from where the resort buses leave.

The fastest route would be to take the bus from the front of the park.

Walk to Epcot

It's a 15-20 min walk at a casual pace. The international gateway opens at 9am at park opening. You'll be closer to Soarin from the IG vs the front of the park. Taking the bus will be quick once you're on the bus, but there's no telling how long you'll wait for a bus, and it'll put you out at the front of the park. You could also take the boat in between parks, but again you don't know how long you'll wait for a boat. It could be there right when you want to board, or you can be waiting 15 min. Then the boat ride makes stops at the surrounding resorts and the boardwalk, so it's about a 30 min ride.

So if you don't mind the walk, it'll be quickest

We always love to walk. It is beautiful & you control your pace.
One of our biggest regret for our October F & W trip is being closed out of Boardwalk/Beach Club DVC & thus losing our ability to do this walk between Epcot & HS.
