We are staying at the Contemporary with my parents who were able to get 2 rooms with the SOG rate. We are also doing Universal for thefirst few days of our trip so I will only be needing a 4 or 5 day Hopper (no water parks or extras) so we will not be getting the PLus feature.

I would also like to order them ahead of time from the DisneyWorld website which offers the Will Call option.

Last year it was SO nice to have our room key and our passes be the same thing.

If I buy them in advance can they still put them on our room key once we get there or am I going to be stuck carrying around a regular ticket and a room key this time ?

Thanks in advance for all of your help ;)

I believe only the lenth of stay pass is included on your room key. If my memory serves me right you will have to carry a paper ticket and your room key. It's been awhile since we only had a "Hopper" pass so things could have changed but I think I remember it right!

Disney resorts can encode any ticket media they sell onto a resort ID when it is purchased at the resort.

If you order in advance and do a will call, you will get a separate ticket that cannot be added to your resort ID. The only advance purchased ticket media that can be encoded onto a resort ID is a UPH which even though it is purchased in advance, doesn't exist until the resort ID is created.
