Hoop Dee Doo Review?

We're very excited to be attending our first HDDR next week. We'll be at the 6:15 performance. Hoping for some advice as to how to get there and back to our resort AoA.

I've read that you can catch a ferry near Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness. How long is the ride?

After the show, are there buses waiting that will take you back to your resort? Or is that just for the last performance each day?

If there aren't buses waiting, how do we get back to AoA?

One more question- if we decide to go to MK after the show, can we catch the ferry back?

For me the easist way to get to Hoopdedoo is to go from the MK. The Ferry leaves from the dock at the MK, it takes about 15-20 minutes.
Once you get to the dock at Ft Wilderness its a quick walk over to the theater.
It has been my experience that there were not resort buses after the earlier show. If they do have resort buses, there is usually one bus that goes to two or more resorts. The CMs will direct you to the correct bus.
You can certainly go back to the MK, that is what we usually do. You can go over to the MK bus stop to get your bus back to AOA.
