Hi everyone!

I just booked a 10 day trip to WDW in January with my sister.
For the first time ever, I'm actually booking some ADRs!

I'm a foodie and basically in love with BBQ/fried chicken. (Not common where I live.)
HDDMR sounds like a dream come true for me. All you can eat of my favorite things! (I'll save the sushi for another time ;) )

Questions are as follows:
First of all, I booked the Eat-Play-Dine deal so I'm on the DDP. I know HDDMR is 2 TS credits and that's fine.
When I tried to book the ADR, though, I got the option of choosing where to sit and each section was a different price.
They won't actually charge me anything, right? Just the two credits?

Also, I'm a very slow eater. When the show is over do they kick you out or can you stay and finish your meal? (Not even sure how long the show is..)

Last question regarding transportation:
We're staying at Pop but will be spending the day at Epcot.
That means we need to get from Epcot to FW and then from there back to Pop after the show. (Show's at 8:30)
Any suggestions?
(I'm mostly worried about getting back after the show because I know there's no direct bus and I don't know how late transportation runs.)

Thanks to anyone who can help! :)

We did late show. They had buses just outside that you could ride direct to your resort. Each bus was assigned a group of hotels to stop at. CMs help you get on the right bus.

They start serving you shortly after you sit and all the way through the show. Plenty of time. When it's over, it's over and everyone heads out. You don't want to drag behind or you will miss the buses.

You can use the dining plan for categories 2 and 3 at the first two shows, and for all 3 categories at the late show. The website *shouldn't* charge you if you choose one of the DDP eligible categories, but if it looks like it's going to, call the dining line to book. :)

Wow, buses to the resorts would be amazing!!! :)
Thanks! Do you know how long the show is?

Hey, thanks. It didn't look like it was charging me, but I did have to give them my credit card to book it. That made me nervous.

1) For the first two shows, you are forced to vacate for re-set of the following show.
2) So, you will asked to leave if you are lingering.
. . . there are a few minutes after the show and dessert
. . . plus, many times the Servers can work-around your table to give you a little more time
3) During the meal, the courses are delivered on a set schedule.
4) If you eat that slow, things might "pile up" on your table.

Absolutely love the Hoop Dee Doo and done it 4 times now. I have had weight loss surgery, so I also must eat slow, and I find I have no issue eating at my pace just fine. As it was said above, food comes out immediately when you sit and you have the majority of the food in the table in the first 45 minutes-1hr, so the rest of the show you can graze and nibble without issue.

For transportation to the Hoop Dee Doo from EPCOT, I would allow at least an hour to get there, and if it was me, I would take the Monorail from EPCOT to the Magic Kingdom, and then as you come down the ramp from the monorail to the park, look off to your right at the boat ramps and hop on the boat to the Ft Wilderness Campgrounds. The boat drops you off super close to the HDDR and it is a really nice ride.

Thanks for explaining!

Thanks for the tips! Do you think the ride from Epcot to FW is shorter if going through MK or is just nicer with the boat ride?
And I've had surgery too, that's why I eat slowly ;) Thanks!!

I think it is probably the same length of time (as long as no breakdowns!)- if you take a bus from Epcot to Ft. Wilderness camp grounds, you then have to change busses at the front of the campground to one that takes you through to the back of the campground (I was amazed how large the campgrounds really are when we did the Segway tour there). That being said, the boatride is so nice and you boat by the now closed down Discovery Island and closed down River Country...you cant see much, but still cool.
