We have made our reservations for the Hoop Dee Do Review in March 2007. We will be celebrating our son and daughter in-law's elopement. Will the CM's do anything "special"? Is there anything we should know before we go? What was your experience like?

Thanks... :wave2:

HI- I am not sure if you can arrange any cake or specific celebration items in advance, but it doesn't hurt to try calling. Also, when you check in, I'd mention it to the greeter and then your server.

The times we've been to HDD, the cast members call out to the audience for people celebrating Birthdays, anniversaries and weddings and then randomly pick a few from the crowd to tease! (All in good fun). ;)

We love the HDD - it really is laugh out loud funny (on the corny side) and endless, decent food and libation.

We love Hoop Dee Doo :dance3: .

As a matter of fact, we are going back next week! DH think he's 6 bits. :rotfl: The food is O.K. IMHO, but the jokes and interaction is SOOOO great! :lmao:

We did the HDDR for the first time on our last trip and everyone in the group LOVED it! We kept talking about how much fun it was for days. My DH and I were celebrating our anniversary, and they made us dance in the middle of the room while they sang to us. TOTALLY embarrassing, but fun!

The food was fairly good, nothing to write home about, but plenty of it! The show was truly hilarious and engaging, definitely a must! We will be going back again for our next trip for sure!

1) Celebrations are VERY minimal.
2) A CM asks for birthdays or anniveraries.
3) Then everyone is asked to stand and the room applauds.
4) That's it.

When we attended the HDDR, it was our parents 45 wedding anniversary. :sunny: This was the reason for the entire family trip to WDW. They had our parents dance, while they sang ( as mentioned in an earlier post) and then later in the evening, they came to our table and asked our father ( quiet, reserved, 65 year old ) to be part of the show. He was the angel, had to wear a tutu type costume. :rotfl: What a night, we still talk about it. We had a ball !:rotfl:

The food is never ending and the wait staff were wonderful.
Looking forward to going again.
Enjoy :wizard:
