Does anyone have a picture of this, or can you tell me if it is what it sounds like? Chicken covered with Honey?? Sounds yummy!:thumbsup2

Here is the honey chicken. its one of my favorites! Its like a crispy "nugget" with a sweet sauce on it, but not too sweet and not too much sauce

I was interested in trying this too! It sounds yummy! Does it come with rice? Vegetables? Thanks for the picture :)

I havent tried it yet hope to during our Sept trip but from what I understand it comes with steamed white rice

It comes with fried rice which is under the chicken. We got an extra order of the rice. It was yummy! Boy could I go for some now!!!

I will say that this was the most disappointing dish on our last trip (and first visit to Y&Y). I had really looked forward to it, but the chicken was mushy and not crispy at all. The sauce was flavored OK, but the texture of the chicken was really a turn off to me.

Is this the same honey chicken that is on the dinner menu? I'm assuming it is, but just wanted to be sure. It looks yummy. I thought I remember reading a while back, when Yak and Yeti first opened, that the honey chicken was not very good. I was disappointed to hear that, because the description sounded good and it would most likely be the item I'd order. I too would love to hear any other reviews for it. Many thanks!

It came with fried rice? I'm pretty sure everything we've gotten at Yak and Yeti came with white rice and if you wanted fried rice you had to order the side dish of it, which might be a snack credit.

My wife and I split the honey chicken and sweet and sour pork. Both where much better than we were expecting! Taste and portion size were very good. It's defiantly on our CS plans when we go back(hopefully next year:))

I really liked the Honey chicken, my wife not so much.

Here's a photo of the entree served at the actual restaurant. I've never eaten at the CS so I'm not sure if you get a choice in the rice, but at the TS it comes with either jasmine or brown rice. :)

Last June this is what I have at the CS, it had less veggies and jasmine rice. I thought is was yummy!!

I just had this last week and it came with white rice and vegetables - carrots and broccoli. I have to say, I was disappointed. I had numerous pieces of chicken that actually didn't have any chicken in them, it was just the coating. The pieces that I did have with actual chicken were not crispy, but more of a mushy texture. There was a lot of sauce too, which I tired of quickly. I ended up just eating most of the rice and vegetables.

DS, who is picky, chose this last time we ate there. He liked it but wished it had been a little crispier. I thought it was really good. The jasmine rice is excellent that comes with it.

I had the honey chicken in Dec., and I would be in the "not so much" category too. It is just not good. In fact we were disappointed with everything we got to eat at the table service Yak and Yeti. I don't think we'll ever go back!:sad2:

I should qualify this by saying it has been more then a year (??) since I had it, so its entirely possible my memory is flawed and the quality has declined. I could swear it was fried rice at the bottom b/c we had the extra container of it and when we got under the chicken we looked at each other and said "guess we didn't need to side of fried rice". Then again, it could have been the margaritas getting to me :confused3

I think the crispiness depends on how busy they are. Its a CS and the food is pre-made in the container. I could see if it was sitting for long, it could steam and get mushy. Fortunately ours was hot, fresh, crispy and good.
