We just got back from 10 days at POP. 7 were free dining. We ate at Le Cellier, Mamma Melrose, CRT breakfast and supper, Alfredo's, Chef Mickey supper, and Concourse. Credits are pooled and we ate over 1000 dollars worth of food for 3 of us. I would be happy to answer any questions since i received so much help with my planning.

Thanks for posting :) How did you like Chef Mickeys? We have our first dinner adr in Oct and I'm a little nervous after reading so many negative reviews ::MickeyMo

Thanks,
Terri

Hi peanutgirl,

I was wondering how you liked Concourse Steakhouse? I am trying to decide on a birthday dinner for my husband and this is one of my choices. We are also eating at LeCellier and California Grill, so I did not want to do steak overkill, but the menu sure looks yummy! Thanks :)

Seaprincess,

We just returned from POP as well and enjoyed the dining plan. Our steak at the Concourse was the best steak of the week..... even better than Le Cellier. I highly recommend their Filet Mignon. The atmosphere may not be as great as many of the other choices but the quality of their food was superior. It's on our future MUST DO list.

Thanks Angelkisses, I have been on the fence with this one for about a week. I have struggled between Spoodle's (currently holding ADR), Cape May Clambake and Concourse. You have helped me make up my mind! Concourse it is! :earsgirl:

We did not eat at Alfredo's however we did eat at Le Cellier. We were on the free dining at the waiter was overjoyed when we told him. He wanted to make sure we got everything we were entitled too. (Bigger the bill, bigger the tip). There were 3 of us dining and we only asked for 2 appetizers ... he brought us 3 anyway. I had the filet migno which was pretty good except I did not care that much for the bbq sauce that was on top. Next time I will request that on the side. DH order filet and lobster (37.99) upon our servers recommendation and he said it was very good. DD ordered a child's burger along with an adult appetizer and child's desert. She is 12 and on the adult plan but didn't care much for the menu. Waiter said he wanted to inform us that we were not maximizing the plan. You could tell he wanted her to order off the more pricey adult menu. Her burger ended up overcooked but she is very shy and didn't want us to say anything. She compared it to the burgers at school lunch. She loved the Chocolate "MOOSE" desert. I had the chocolate whiskey cake for desert which was very good and for the life of me I cannot remember what DH had for desert. Our appetizers consisted of 2 of the cheese samplers (12.99) loved the sweet cheese w/marmalade but beware of the black cheese. Although we thought the cheese sampler would be a good choice of dd it turned out not to be. The extra appetizer that was brought to our table was the steak kabob. DH ate it but did not comment. The biggest complaint with Le Cellier as well as all the other places we dined (exception was WCC) was getting tea refills. We would sit there with empty glasses while they took our desert order so they obviously knew and they still would not bring tea around again to us unless we asked specifically. Overall it was a good dining experience. By the way, loved the bread sticks!

I loved the flat bread sandwiches. Also the fresh baked pastries ... chocolate crossant. YUM!

Hi everyone, here goes some answers. Chef Mickey's was cute. The food was good and had vegetables that were lacking at other places. My husband felt it was a tie between Le Cellier's steak and the Concourse. They were both excellent but the cheddar soup was the best for me. At Alfredo's i had the biggest and best veal chop i have ever had. All in all the food at all of our restaurants were excellent except Mamma's was only so-so.

I also found the servers to be happy we were on the dining plan and very helpful in what you could order. The Cellier was the only place that let my daughter order an appitizer from the adult menu and chef mickey's allowed the glowing icecube for free.

I hope i helped

Thank you so much AngelKisses for the quick reply! Has anyone eaten at Kona Cafe on the dining plan? HOw is it?
Getting more and more excited-will be at All Star Music on 9-29-05 :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
