Does anyone know if home depot employees get a discount as Disney? I was told that disney has a lot of different contracts with different companies and they offer like a 40% discount. Home Depot carries an awful lot of disney products and all so i think they should.

My husband works for home depot and everyone we talk to seems to send us to someone else and no one seems to know

Any advice would be great

If your husband works at Home Depot, tell him to look under his My Apron, that will tell him all his discounts he gets.
He'll know what I am talking about.

But to answer your question, no there is no Disney discount. The just did a contract with Six Flags though.

Not trying to sound rude, but no, they shouldn't. Almost every chain store in the US carries something that is licensed by Disney and if discounts were handed out because of that, then hundreds of thousands of people would get a discount, which would drive resort rates way up for everyone else.

Even Disney CM's have a tough time getting cast rates at certain times......:hippie:

thanks for the info. we have been on the benefits page and it did not say anything about disney and human resources at his store thought that there might be but they were not sure. We were hoping that there was but I guess not

Years ago there was a Disney card, I forgot the actual name of it, and you were able to get it from your employer if they did participate in it. However, it is no longer available.

Ahhhhh....Those were the good old days. It was the Magic Kingdom Club :wizard:

Home Depot would have to be a major supporter (like Siemens) in order to get some perks.

COmpared to what? Try getting a decent room at a reasonable rate in NYC or downtown Chicago (and other major cities I am sure). WDW resorts will look like a bargain!

I totally agree!! Granted, they're not as upscale as many high-end hotel brands, but all things considered, they really are a great value, and they have a catagory to fit all budgets.

You can't compare New York Apples with Florida Oranges as I'm old enough to remember a room at the GF for $160 a night!
