They have been doing the fireworks starting at close.. In sept, that should be about 9ish.

I would expect the sept hours to increase around aug 15-18th.. this is the pattern that disney has been using lately. It's a change from just over a year where you had a better idea of hours 6 months in advance.

Awesome, thank you! I saw close @ 8:00 and got worried my ADR at 6 wasn't going to be the best idea.

I would actually make it more like 5 just to play it safe.. there isn't much room in the center of HS to really see them well. and that's assuming they will make it 9. they might start to do fantasmic and star wars at the same time again and be earlier.. basically once it's dark, they really want to close some of the parks. with pandora coming, I can see trying to save more money at HS by getting it closed ASAP.

I figure 2 hours is the max an ADR will take, even if they are running way behind. So, you should be out by 8 the latest.

Best guess would be to look at last year's schedule for your dates and see what time the show started.

Is it possible to see both star wars night time show and fantasmic? Or are they always at the same time, where you have to pick? I thought Fantasmic had 2 shows during the more popular times of year, which would make it possible to see both..any info is appreciated.

What I have done, just in case they are at the same time in September, I upgraded my 7 day pass to an 8 day pass so I could see both of them if they on at the same time.

Not possible. They overlap on purpose.

Thanks for asking this...was just thinking the same thing lol. Made a lunch ADR at sci-fi because I noticed the 8PM closing and want to do the Star Wars dessert party...so figured a dinner would be cutting it way too close. Had noticed the AK hours went from 7 to 9 so hoping they'll do it for HS too. Had to switch my AK and HS days cause of ROL only showing on certain days in Sept though....glad I caught that.
